American Legion Scholarships

American Legion Auxiliary Memorial
Honoring Anna Bennett & Arlee Robinson

Applications must be submitted to the American Legion Auxiliary no later than May 15th through our website by using the link below.

What to Submit:
Title of Paper: Scholarship Committee with your full name
Scholarship applicants must submit within the application a 500 word essay describing:
"What Americanism is Today"
The Auxiliary Scholarship Committee reviews applications and selects a recipient. The recipient is notified at the Senior Awards ceremony in June.

Please include the following on a separate page of the submission:
1). Name of Applicant
2). Address
3). Phone Number
4). Date of Birth
5). US Citizen Yes or No
6). Father's Name
7). Mother's Name
8) Name of High School
9). High School Graduation Date
10). Description of application's work experience
11). Name and Address of educational institute planning to attend.

Attach Essay: The scholarship in the amount of $250 is awarded as college aid. Upon completion of one semester, the recipient will need to provide a transcript directly to the Unit Treasurer. The scholarship is paid directly to the recipient.
